Issue – Broken Item
Rating – 5/5
I ordered a single motor for my S107G helicopter to scavenge the gear off of the shaft. The one on my heli was lost in a tragic accident involving a ceiling fan.
Syma shipped the part in a non-padded white envelope through USPS. When the item arrived the gear I needed was poking out of a tear in the envelope and two teeth were broken off.
Here is a great example of how support should be done……..
1/7/2013 – I purchased the motor just for the gear on the end. When it came in two teeth on the gear were broken. I don’t need a whole replacement I just need some intact gears.
1/8/2013 – Syma – Would you like us to re-send you the teeth or issue you a refund?
1/8/2013 – Just the gear would be fine.
1/8/2013 – Syma – Sending you the some teeth and gears today
1/11/2013 – Received 2 of the gears I needed along with some extras
Well Done Syma.
I feel good customer service should be acknowledged as much as poor customer service. This series is to highlight exceptionally good or exceptionally poor customer service from different sellers and companies.
